Ryan Berkman has been attending COD since about the second grade. He joined the staff in 2015 to lead the Junior High Ministry. Ryan graduated from Biola University with a degree in Biblical Studies and he currently attends Talbot Seminary where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word to the next generation and seeing them grow together in their faith in Jesus Christ. “I want to help mobilize the young people at Church of the Open Door to boldly proclaim the Gospel of God’s love and grace in their homes, schools, and even around the world, if given the opportunity. We need young people who are deeply in love with Jesus Christ and committed to inviting their friends, relatives, or anyone else they know to join the family of faith.“

Ryan and his wife, Sarah, are newly married and are so grateful to be living and serving at COD as they start this new season of life together.
