Davidʼs passion is to see individuals and families trust the amazing grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and be embraced by His Bride, the local church. One of his greatest joys is for people to be known, loved and prayed for in personal discipleship and to experience the transformation of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God.

David Anderson was installed as CODʼs tenth Lead Pastor on August 7, 2016. He has served in leadership roles at Church of the Open Door for over 30 years. David graduated from BIOLA University and Dallas Theological Seminary.

David and his wife, Nancy, have five children: Jack, Rylie and triplets Matthew, Morgan and Cameron. Nancy is a kindergarten teacher in Covina and they have lived in Azusa for 25 years and enjoy sports, friends, cooking and especially eating and sometimes exercising.
