Easter at Church of the Open Door

Easter 2019

He is risen

Easter is good news you can trust today!

The Bible calls the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth of first importance (I Corinthians 15:3). Easter is about the ultimate sign that demonstrated who Jesus is and why He came – the Son of God was victorious over sin and death.

Just as He said

Easter celebrates that Jesus died for all us and offers us all resurrection life because He has risen from the grave . . . just as he said he would! (Matthew 12:39-40, 16:21, John 2:18-22, John 10:17-18)

Come & see

You’re invited to be part of our Easter celebration services at either 9 or 10:45am on Sunday, April 21. Each service will last for about an hour and 15 minutes.

Bring your kids, too, for a memorable Easter experience. You’ll be able to check them into our CODkids ministry, where they’ll enjoy The Bubba Adventure at either 9 or 10:45am, and an egg hunt in between at 10:15am. We also offer a well-staffed nursery to care for the littlest ones. We’ll have greeters out front to assist you with finding your way.

Come as you are – we’re looking forward to meeting you!
