August 8 @ 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
Shepherd’s Pantry is a food bank in Glendora. It exists to provide food and other services from a faith-based perspective to those in need in surrounding communities.
Right now they’re in need of some specific non-canned items to restock their supply. They’d also appreciate having some backpacks and school supplies to offer to families as the return to school approaches.
Would you be part of meeting this need among San Gabriel Valley families?
Here’s what you can do:
1. FILL A BAG (or two!) with non-canned items on the recommended donation list.
As an alternative to food items, you can drop off a gift card to any local grocery store. This will allow our friends at Shepherd’s Pantry to go shopping for any items that are still needed.
2. FILL A BACKPACK with school supplies for kids from the recommended school supply list.
You can also include a Bible or another faith-related item by way of encouragement.

3. DROP OFF your items on SUNDAY, AUGUST 8:
Bring your donation to church between 8am and 12:30pm on Sunday, August 8. We’ll have a designated drop off area in the Worship Center parking lot. You’ll also have a chance to meet our friend Craig, the Director of Shepherd’s Pantry.
4. REGISTER TO HELP on the day of the drive. We would love your help to receive and sort the donations over the course of the morning. We are also looking for people to help after church. We’ll be heading to Shepherd’s Pantry to help unload the truck.
LET US KNOW if you’re able to help!
Thank you for your partnership!
