This service will be a time of worship, prayer and reflection as we mark the beginning of the Lenten season, the period of 40 days leading up to Easter Sunday.
Ash Wednesday serves as a reminder of our mortality and brokenness as fallen humans, but also of God’s grace and forgiveness in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
At the end of the service, we will offer an invitation to participate in some kind of journey through Lent with us. This might include engaging in some kind of intentional fast or other spiritual practice during this season to ready the soil of your heart for Holy Week.
