According to Hebrews 2:5-10, Jesus came on Christmas to resurrect our glory and dignity. The rest of the chapter explains that He is not ashamed to call us His brother or sister and place us firmly in the family of God (2:11-13). Not only has He destroyed Satan’s exploitation of death (2:14-15), but He is our faithful and merciful High Priest that advocates for us (2:17-18).
