We have several opportunities each year for individuals and families to serve in the children's ministry outside the walls of Church of the Open Door. A team of volunteers take our VBA to central Oregon and minister to the LaPine Community Church in mid July each summer.

 

We have also had opportunites to travel internationally and take our VBA to the families of the teachers with English Language institute of China (ELIC) which is held in Chiang Mai, Thailand. 

 

In November of 2010, a team travelled to Kijabe, Africa and presented the VBA to the children of missionaries with African Inland Mission (AIM).
